heartland mysteries is a mystical dispatch from the urbanized midwest; an ongoing experiment in creative expression drawn through one queer kansan’s transformational process; an imperfect effort to bear compassionate witness from within my culture while cultivating direct, working relationship with earth, land, humans and spirit.
i’m briar rose (they/them). i’m an artist (in process), double aquarius and aspiring animist, walking with spirit in (so-called) kansas city, missouri. i am the steward and lead caretaker of an in-person learning community called Inner Space, teach group classes and offer divination, spiritual consulting and mentorship. i am a leader in the Cycle Community and an active student of the Cycle Teachings, with my primary teachers Langston Kahn and Christina Pratt.
